Nonstore retailing was initiated to serve the needs of customers who are either unable to patronize retail stores or those who prefer their purchases delivered to the doorstep. Distance or time could be the main reasons why the customer is unable to patronize the stores.
Some of the earlier nonstore retailing are Mail-Order Retailing, Door-to-Door Retailing, Automatic-Vending Retailing, and Telephone Retailing. Although these types of retailing still exists, the most popular type of retailing today is Online Retailing.
As a blogger, I discovered that http://www.amazon.com/ is one of the best Online Retailing as it is not only well organized but is continuously improving day to day.
Other great Online Retailers are ;
http://www.ebay.com/
http://www.walmart.com/
and so on.
