Nuts before they reach you

A nut is the opposite mate of the bolt and together, they fasten parts together. The partners are kept together by their threads' friction. Their threads could be 0.7 mm or smaller, 1.0 mm, 1.25 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.75 mm or larger.

Before they reach you, they go through sampling inspection like:

4. Width across corner check.
5. Nut thickness control.
6. Hexagon length control.
7. Bearing diameter check.
8. Chamfer diameter allowance check.
9. Thickness of serration examination.
10. Concentricity test.
11. Parallelism control.
12. Proof load test.
13. Surface treatment examination.
14. Material verification.

Nut is thus a faithful companion of screw or bolt.
